First Day in France

Today we have managed to get our little camper across the Channel and into France. We were on the 10am ferry and we just made it on even after getting up at 6am after Charlotte decided to wake and feed every two hours during the night.

Our first night in France is in a motel just outside of Rouen in Normandy. We hunted around for a campsite and were unable to find one and with Charlotte screaming in our ears we decided to have a bit of luxury for one night. So we are in a simple but fairly clearn (Narelle keeps finding hairs) motel and had a buffet dinner (two course) which was not too bad concidering the circumstances.

The camper is parked up in the car park with its hitchlock on and we just hope that nothing happens to it tonight – should be fine.

We are off to Saint-Jean-De-Monts on the Atlantic coast. We are catching up with Vicks parents who help run part of the camp site and have offered to help us out with a weeks accomodation and helpful tips on what to see in France.

We have an early start tomorrow as we have another 350Km to go which will take us at least 4 hours given that we need to stop so that Charlotte can have a feed and strech.

This update comes curticy of free WIFI access at the motel as was last nights update at the campsite. Which has been a huge bonus.

Hope you enjoyed the photos that we uploaded.
